How much is recommended clearance behind a wall or a plasma screen LCD?

I saw wall brackets and settlement 2.5in 1.25in. Although the 1.25 is better, for me, not enough flow for my flat screen that has an exhaust fan located in the rear of the unit.

The use of the removal of 2.5in shounld want the ventilator to breathe, 1.25in not as much of the fan port is here for those reasons to get the hot air cirulation on a sound is better than the poor circulation in any situation. sit and enjoy without hassles.
